A plein air oil painting on hardboard of a creek that runs through the outskirts of Adelaide city in a parkland on the east side.
The trees are short, salt bush covers the ground and the earth so orange it glows with the colours of flame. The only sounds are wind and the birds, time ceases to exist or matter. The days are long, the sun is warm, the landscape is simple and its beauty overwhelming.

The beach is one of my favourite places to go, but there is something really special about the beach at night because the stars are bright and usually you have the whole beach to yourself. in this painting I have tried to capture the beauty and peace of enjoying the beach at night. It is acrylic on canvas.

An oil painting of a garden that does not exist. This painting took a longer time than a lot of my paintings as I had no inspiration images to reference it is a completely made up place using memories of plants from various gardens I have been to.

‘Taking the leap’ is an acrylic painting on canvas. It is about making the jump from where you are (your comfort zone) to where you want to be in life. I painted a deep ditch through the ground under the rabbit because although the thought of falling is scary the reward of the leap is worth it a million times over.

Acrylic on an oval canvas. I was inspired by the shape of the canvas, I so often am just working with rectangle canvases, so I decided I wanted to incorporate the oval shape as part of the painting and make it a feature. ‘Life At First Glance’ was the title I chose for this piece as it shows an owl eye looking out of a cracked egg to see what is on the other side.

This painting is acrylic on canvas of nine flamingos hanging around a river in the late afternoon. I actually just wanted to try and paint flamingos because it was something I hadn’t done before and they are such beautiful birds.

Measuring 120cm by 75 cm this acrylic painting is an absolute statement piece. It took a couple of months for me to complete. It features a nightscape of several waterfalls forming a large waterfall surrounded by trees and complimented by the milky way.
