After a big storm during golden hour appeared this beautiful rainbow, this is a photo from my backyard.
A photo taken just before a beautiful sunset of some wild flowers in the mountains.
Looking back at Auckland from Mt Victoria, Devonport after watching the sunset. What a beautiful city it is! I spent under 48 hours here and walked around for 17 hours on the day I took this photo, needless to say my legs were in pain the next day but totally worth it, I had a great time.
Inside Auckland Arcade, such a beautiful little place, I love the lights. When I saw this cute sign for a barber I just had to take a photo of it.
A beautiful summers afternoon under the Grange jetty capturing the golden light of a summer sunset. it was actually freezing the day I shot this I had been waiting at grange for 3 hours as the day before I couldn’t get a park and missed the sunset.
A photo of Port Willunga from inside the beachfront caves
I watched the sunset from Skye lookout, it was so beautiful the way the plants lit up golden. I took this photo as a HDR to capture it the best I could. it was freezing cold and really windy even though its the middle of summer and it was a hot day. I love watching the sunset, I am going to be doing lots more landscape photography this year as I feel it is so rewarding!
Looking at Auckland from Mt Victoria during the afternoon, it was such beautiful weather on this day!
A photo I took of the moon rising at sundown, behind a silhouetted crane, during an afternoon stroll through the outskirts of Brisbane city.

This is a high speed photo of a water drop taken by me in 2016 when I was studying photography at TAFE SA. I used a blue and magenta gel to give the water the colour and I used canon speed lights to light the shot.
On a road trip through the Flinders Rangers in 2016 there were beautiful fields of purple flowers, as the evening sun started hitting them from behind they appeared to glow, I wanted to capture the beauty and the magic in the moment because I’d never seen anything like it before.
Petrol cove during the day, the water was so pretty and blue, such a beautiful place to visit.
A close up macro image of a Hibiscus flowers stem, the sunlight was hitting the flower just right and all the little hairs and pollen’s were beautifully defined.
Waiting for the Ferry to arrive at Auckland so I could go over to Devonport, its so pretty at the ferry stop as night falls! The reflections on the water looked magical
On a trip I took to Mannum I saw a bare tree on its own in amongst the barren landscape so I took this photo of it.
Another Sunset at Skye, the sunsets there are so incredible you can see for so far. this time I decided to frame it through the trees as there are some really nice trees there.
On a road trip back from the snow in Victoria I saw this paddock and the tree that appears biggest in the photo really just stood out to me, it was such a beautiful winters day, the sky was so bright and blue.
A long exposure photo of Petrol cove just after the sun had gone down, it was really windy and cold on the beach and the water was rough.
A beautiful sunrise over a lake that I decided to shoot from behind some grass seed silhouetted in the foreground.
a rare moment I was actually awake in time for a sunrise, I love it when I get to see a sunrise, but I’m not a morning person so its a big struggle for me to be awake this early, I was on the way to the Flinders Ranges when I saw this sunrise.
A stobie pole silhouetted against the sky just before a sunset at Skye lookout.
Just after the sun went down a flock of birds flew through the sky I had about 2 seconds to take the shot with no time to prepare as they were flying fast, thankfully my camera was on the right settings as I had just finished shooting the sunset. it is a little grainy cause it was on ISO 800 I have tried to remove some of the grain but its still quiet visible.
Just after the sun had gone down on my holiday at Mt Hotham in the winter snow, seeing snow was such a magical experience!
On my way to the Flinders Ranges this was one of the first times seeing them up close on the trip but still far enough away to see a big amount of them, I took the photo as a Panorama to really show how much land there is out there. If you haven’t been there it is 110% worth the trip, though make sure you have a reliable GPS its easy to get lost on the way there.
A photo of the very end of a beautiful sunset as the city lights turn on.
On a morning drive through the country side I saw a pretty sunrise, this is actually slightly after the sun had risen but the colours were still there so I used the trees to frame the colours, I love the glow that was everywhere from the morning sun.
Bougainvillea in the evening sun light, it looked so pretty like it was glowing.
the beautiful glow left in the sky after the sun had set after watching the sunset at Skye lookout.
Ok, so it was actually taken in summer…….. but it was cold and it looks like winter in the photo, so that’s why I called it winter flower. Its a beautiful purple wild flower with dramatic thorns……. I did get pricked a few times getting this close to it but it was worth it.
After watching a beautiful sunset I was driving through Port Adelaide and saw this view as I crossed over the bridge, so I parked my car and walked back to take this photo.
A HDR photo of a life savers hut in the start of an extremely beautiful sunset.
The end of another stunning sunset as night sets in over South Australia, the moon is just visible above the big dark cloud.
A beautiful sunset to end a lovely day, I was at the beach shooting a fashion shoot but quickly took this snap of the sunset as it looked so surreal being a bit overcast you could look right at the sun it was really pretty.
A photo from up in the Adelaide hills as the sun sets behind the city.
A photo of sand dunes at the beach lit up pink in the glow of the sunset.
Another photo of the night setting in. This time a Panorama. I feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful country.
A sunset over Adelaide as a storm rolls in.
I watched the sunset at Skye Lookout from down on the ground looking up through the wild flowers.
The neon glow of Queen Street Auckland in the early hours of the morning. I had so much fun exploring Auckland city its such a beautiful place and feels so safe.
While driving in rural South Australia I saw a beautiful field of canola flowers I really wanted to get a shot where you could see the flowers in detail and also see how brightly coloured they were, so this is the photo I took. it was such a beautiful day which is clearly visible by the blue sky with white fluffy clouds in the background.
while driving through rural South Australia I saw this beautiful canola field on the side of the road so of course I couldn’t resist pulling over and taking some photos of it.
A photo I took while in rural South Australia of a beautiful canola field with hills in the background.
This was the first time I had ever been to Lake Bonney, I had gone to take photos of the sunrise, I was amazed by how still the water was and how picturesque it is there. This photo was taken at first light.
During watching the sunrise at Pelican Point Lake Bonney I actually did see pelicans so I took photos of them as well as the sunrise, in this image you can see a silhouetted pelican and its reflection in the water.
Just before the sunrise at Lake Bonney. It was so pretty there, the water is filled with dead trees and is relatively calm so there are lots of reflections .
After what seemed like a lot of waiting in the cold of first light at Lake Bonney the sun finally made an appearance in the sunrise.
I am not sure what these plants are called but they were on the edge of the Lake at Lake Bonney and I thought they were really beautiful when the morning sun from the sunrise reached them.
In the early morning around sunrise at Lake Bonney I photographed these plants on the bank of the lake, they looked so beautiful with the soft golden light illuminating them.
Facing away from the sunrise at Lake Bonney there was this one big dead tree, it was so picturesque standing there on its own amongst the little shrubs being illuminated by the golden glow of the sunrise.
The story behind this photo is quiet funny; I had just finished photographing the sunrise and it was really cold outside I was walking around Lake Bonney taking lots of photos and I saw this sand I was so cold that when I looked at it I was like ‘ oh wow is that snow, that explains why its so cold’ so I reached down to touch it only to realise it was sand, so I took a photo of it because the sand was very clean and white and really did look like snow.
While driving around at Lake Bonney I saw this tree stump far away from all of the other trees and lit up by the early morning sun.
This little shrub growing in the red dirt near the Murray River National Park caught my eye, so I took this photo of it.
While sitting down by the river in the Murray River National Park I couldn’t help but notice how the sun was catching on the water and sparkling like glitter. So I walked over to a plant so I would have something to focus on and took this photo in hopes of capturing the sparkle in the water.
Although this looks like a desert it was just the side of the road on the way to the Murray River National Park. I spent quiet a bit of time stopped here as I thought it was really pretty and I love the desert.
While near the Murray River National Park in South Australia the side of the road looked just like a desert. it had magnificent red dirt and lots of dwarfed plants. This little bush caught my eye and I felt the need to take a photo of it, I feel that this one photo captured the feel of the entire area I was in.
On the side of the road in rural South Australia I saw this gorgeous little red sand dune covered in shrubs, I couldn’t resist taking a photo of it.
Down by the Murray River I saw this plant growing, the colour of the flower was so stunning I had to take a photo of it.
During a road trip I stopped at the river lands I saw this rusted rain water tank on stilts, I thought it looked quiet pretty and was very typical Australia looking, so I took this photo of it.
In rural South Australia while taking photos of a gorgeous landscape with red dirt I saw a fence with barbed wire. The rust on the Barbed wire was almost the same colour as the red dirt, I thought is was really beautiful and captured the feel of outback Australia. My favourite colour is orange and my favourite place is the desert so this is one of my favourite photos I’ve taken.
I was driving in rural South Australia when I saw this beautiful landscape, so I pulled over to take photos of it. It was quiet dramatic with such contrasting colours and the lighting kept changing because the clouds were moving quickly. the red dirt made me think of the desert.
this photo was taken on a short overnight trip to Kingston. While I was there I decided to go get some astro photos as there is no light pollution on the beach at night there. I have never seen the stars like I did that night ever before in my life you could literally see the galaxy and billions of stars stretching from one horizon to the other, it was truly magical, you could see it just like in this photo.
This image was taken in November 2020 from on top of the cliffs near the Obelisk in Robe, it was such an incredible sunset it changed so many times.
This sunset was so incredible, it just kept changing, this was right towards the end from some cliffs within walking distance of the Obelisk at Robe that you can look back at the Obelisk in the distance.
I decided to photograph Corny Point Lighthouse at night, the night was really bright because of a full moon to the side of where I was taking this photo from. I really struggle to get the focus on my camera at night because I don’t have great night vision, I am super happy with how this photo turned out.
This photo was taken during an incredible sunset at Port Willunga hundreds of birds flew across the sky during the time the sunset was happening but this was my favourite photo I captured of them.
