I love having my little sister Claudia model for me, she is so sweet and tries so hard to do well, it really shows. For this shoot she is wearing a dress I made when I was 16 for a fashion show, a coat she borrowed from mum and a necklace borrowed from our other sister. The hair and makeup is by me, her hair is so long when its straight, normally she has curly hair. She was originally wearing shoes but honestly I’m really not a shoe person, I think shoes look gross so I got her to take her shoes off for the photo, she was being pretty brave doing so, as, although in the photo you cant tell, it was a freezing cold day.

Absolutely loved doing this shoot with Tash, I had seen this petrol station when mum was driving and was like mum remember where this is for me please. Thankfully mum remembered where it was for when I did my shoot with Tash a week or so later. I love the unkept beauty of abandon places.

Throwback to a shoot from way earlier this year, a new photo though (not seen before.) This shoot was done in the Mt Coottha Botanical Gardens with my Friends Sarah and Manko modelling, and yes I did just refer to Manko the Macaw as my friend as he’s not just any bird he can talk and has an awesome personality. It was super tricky lighting this as it was getting really dark where we were, the moment looked so magical.

Ok so its not really the desert! but it looks like it, its a massive empty block of land, its really pretty there and I love how much it looks like the desert. This shoot was my first shoot with Abby, I have known her since she was 8 we use to ice skate together in this picture she is 14 and wants to become a model. it was really lovely working with and catching up with her.

I shot with Lisa and modelled along side her, she is such a great model! I didn’t hide the camera remote very well for a self portrait though. it was more tricky than a normal self portrait shoot cause I was trying to direct posing while looking the other way and taking the photo. the colour scheme makes me think of paddle pops now that I look back at the photos.

This photo was taken on my most recent Brisbane trip, I had organised with Lisa to catch up and do a shoot, but I didn’t have any of the smaller details planned like where we would shoot, when I arrived at Lisa’s house I decided then and there that that was the location for the shoot so we used several rooms of the house and shot a few different looks, this was the first look shot in the lounge room next to the fireplace.
Did a fashion photoshoot yesterday for the first time in ages..... probably since the beginning of covid..... its a self portrait.
Model, Makeup, Photography, retouching and background (painted by) me. I actually did a decent job at hiding the remote in my pose for once.
New self portrait, my friend Mia cut my hair, she is an incredible hairdresser! I used some fabric for the backdrop and decided to go with and black and white stripes on stripes look for this photo.
