Ever since I was a little girl and saw a movie about a lost city of gold I could picture it so clearly. It sparked inspiration in me; what if it really existed? I would want to go there, not to take the gold but to be surrounded by its beauty. This photoshoot is inspired by the idea of El Dorado being real and was put together to evoke the feeling, to the viewers of these photos, we had been privileged enough to go there.
Being qualified in photography, fashion design and make up + hair, I tried to do as much as I could to bring this shoot together including making the two piece garment Yvonne is wearing.
